MDPE ASPC MFI3713

MFI3713 from Arya Sasol Polymer Company is a medium density polyethylene (MDPE) characterized by its broad molecular weight distribution and high melt strength. This resin is specifically designed for producing thin films with high tear resistance, good sealability, and excellent strength, suitable for high-quality packaging solutions.

Product Description

  • High Melt Strength: Allows for extensive draw down without compromising the film's integrity, which is essential for thin film applications.
  • Good Sealability and High Tear Resistance: Ensures the produced films are durable and capable of maintaining integrity under stress, making them ideal for packaging that requires reliability.

Applications

MFI3713 is primarily recommended for:

  • Blown Film Extrusion: Well-suited for the manufacture of high-strength carrier bags and uni/multi-wall packaging films where superior mechanical properties are necessary.

Product Specifications and Properties

  • Density: 937 kg/m³ at 23°C (ISO 1183), indicating the material's solidity and structural compactness.
  • Melt Flow Index (MFI):
    • 0.1 dg/min at 190°C/2.16 Kg (ISO 1133), showing very low flow rate indicative of high molecular weight.
    • 13 dg/min at 190°C/21.6 Kg (ISO 1133), suitable for processes that require quick and efficient mold filling.
