LLDPE LL0209AA

LL0209AA is a liner low-density polyethylene copolymer with butene as comonomer, and it contains antioxidants which make it perfect for general applications. It is meant to be blended with conventional LDPEs, this affords superior sealing properties vis-à-vis these materials besides having higher puncture resistance and greater draw down capability.

Description and Features

Antioxidants: It contains Irganox1010 & Irganox168 that help prevent oxidation thereby improving product life span.

Neutralizer: Contains Calcium Stearate acting as neutralizer to enhance processing stability & performance.

Enhanced Mechanical Properties: LL0209AA possesses better sealing ability, higher puncture resistance & increased tensile strength compared to regular LDPEs.

Applications

Versatile in nature; can be used for various applications such as;

Heavy Duty Sacks – Ideal for sacks that need to withstand high levels of mechanical stress.

Agricultural Films – These are films used to cover crops so that they can be protected against environmental aspects like rainwater etc., while still remaining durable enough over time.

Liners – Applicable where strong liners are required with high puncture resistance levels e.g., construction sites or industrial areas where sharp objects may come into contact with them frequently thus causing tearing easily if weak points exist within their structure design itself.

Produce Bags/Stretch Film – Excellent choice when producing packing materials (e.g., produce bags) which require stronger seals along with stretch films primarily employed in packaging logistics among others.

Typical Physical and Mechanical Properties

Melt Flow Rate (MFR): 0.9 g/10min at 190°C/2.16 Kg (ISO 1133); Indicative of polymer’s flowing behaviour during processing stage .

Density: 0.920 g/cm3 (ISO 1183); Gives material structural stability

Haze: 12% (ASTM D1003); Provides moderate transparency

Gloss: 50 (ASTM D523); Adds aesthetic value to films made out of it

Impact Strength: 150 gr (ASTM D1709); Shows resiliency against sudden severe forces applied on it

Tear Strength: 370 g/25μ in TD & 145 g/25μ in MD (ASTM D1922);

Demonstrates film’s resistance towards tearing when pulled from different directions.

Yield Stress: 11 MPa in TD and 10 MPa in MD (ISO 527); Represents minimum stress required before material starts deforming permanently along its width or lengthwise respectively.

Tensile Strength: 32 MPa in TD & 41 MPa in MD (ISO 527); Indicates highest amount of stress polymer can withstand without breaking apart under tension along those same directions mentioned earlier .

Elongation at Break: 840% in TD &620% in MD (ISO 527); Describes how much elongation occurs before rupture failure takes place within this particular type of plastic component which tends being flexible compared to others like PP or PS etcetera.

Modulus of Elasticity:200MPa(TD)&190MPa(MD)(ISO527) ;Shows rigidity characteristics associated with materials used for making this kind of product – higher values mean stiffer substance .

Processing Conditions and Recommendations

Recommended Melt Temperature is between180-225°C for best processing results .

Specific settings for Dr.Collin30M Film Blowing Machine so that quality films can be produced efficiently using it as extrusion equipment;

Blow Up Ratio should be kept at two(2) since this helps achieve desired properties required for given application(s);

Die Specifications are as follows;75mm diameter having a gap size equaling1.2mm which is designed specifically meant for thin film production purposes.

Packaging and Storage

Packaged into pellets which are then supplied in 25 kg bags thereby making them easy to handle during transport or storage .

Storage should be done under dry conditions at temperatures not exceeding60°C while ensuring no exposure occurs towards sunlight(UV light) which might cause degradation leading to odor generation and color changes.
