LLDEPE BG-LL 22B02

BG-LL 22B02 is a type of good resin called linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) having comonomer butene-1 which increases the hardness and strength of films manufactured from it. This polymer is designed for blown and cast films with high stiffness requirements in various applications thus making it suitable for blending and lamination.

Properties and Performance of Resin

Melt Index: 1.8 to 2.2 g/10 min at 190°C / 2.16 kg (ASTM D1238); this means that it has a right balance between flowability and molecular weight which are good for film extrusion.

Density: 0.920 – 0.924 g/l @23°C (ASTM D1505); hence, films made out of this substance will be tough and rigid.

F/E Ratio: <30 (ASTM D1238); this suggests that there is an average relationship between flow and extrusion properties.

Yellowness Index: 0.5 (ASTM D1925); therefore there will be no much variation in color which is important where clear or neutral appearance is required by some applications.

Ti Content: 2 ppm wt – relevant for UV stability & consistent colors required by certain applications (MTM15636).

Fish Eyes Gels/m2 : 60 (MTM17108); fish eye refers to impurities such as small particles or bubbles in resin; thus clarity/purity measurement value per square meter when used in films.

Haze:13% (ASTM D1003) - moderate light diffusion through film, useful where slight transparency needed most .

Gloss:90% (ASTMD2457) ; gives highly reflective surface on films

Mechanical Properties

Dart Impact Strength:60g(ASTD1709)- measure resistance against penetration or puncture during impact loading conditions like dropping objects onto it.

Tensile Strength at Yield:

TD: 13 MPa (ASTM D882)

MD: 12 MPa (ASTM D882); stress levels where films start deforming; shows good mechanical strength.

Tensile Strength at Break:

TD: 38 MPa (ASTM D882)

MD: 40 MPa (ASTM D882); maximum stress before film breaks.

Elongation at Break:

TD: 1000% (ASTM D882)

MD: 850% (ASTM D882); ability to stretch without breaking; high elasticity

Applications and Additives

High Stiffness Blown and Cast Film – used in making strong films for industrial, pharmaceuticals & food packaging materials

Blending – can be mixed with other polymers to get desired properties for specific end uses

Lamination – suitable for lamination processes of creating multilayer structures with improved barrier properties

Additives:

Acid Scavenger – protects the polymer from degradation under acidic conditions

Antioxidants - prevents oxidation during processing that extends material life .

Anti-Block and Slip Agent- available on request to improve film handling/machinability

Lubricant – enhances extrusion process and final product quality

BG-LL 22B02 meets the tough requirements set by modern films hence providing manufacturers with reliable high-performance materials having good processability, mechanical strength as well aesthetic properties which are excellent. This therefore makes it most preferred choice for many high end film production applications.
