LDPE LF0200

LF0200 is a film grade of low density polyethylene (LDPE) with high molecular weight. It performs well in flexible extrusion processes and has excellent mechanical properties. This type of film is known for its strength and ability to resist dart impact at high levels while also offering good yield, tensile strength and stiffness. Moreover, it can be used under very cold conditions thus making it versatile for many different applications even those that are made under harsh environmental conditions.

Applications

Here are some applications where LF0200 can be used due to its balanced properties:

General Purpose Bags – These bags are used both by consumers and businesses alike because they have the ability to withstand wear as well as tear.

Packaging of Mechanical Parts – They provide protection against impacts because of their high impact resistance.

Carrier Bags – These are great for retail stores or supermarkets since they can bear heavy loads without tearing apart.

Coextruded Milk Bags – They have barrier properties which make them suitable for food packaging where safety is important.

Low Tension Power Cables Insulation – Can be applied electrically thus ensuring that insulation is always intact all times even if there’s power cut off somewhere along the line!

Industrial Injection Moldings – The toughness property makes it useful when producing molded industrial parts that require mechanical robustness among other things too!!!

Key Specifications

Melt Flow Index (MFI) : 2g/10min at 190C/2.16kg means this material has good processability under heat.

Density: 0.920 g/ml gives the right balance between lightweightness and durability.

Softening Point: 94C describes how sensitive this stuff is towards being heated up or cooled down rapidly etc..

Haze: upto15% tells us about what proportion of light gets scattered rather than transmitted through transparent materials like film…

Gloss: Minimum 60 Gu @ 60 degrees shows what kind of shiny finish one should expect from the film!!!

Elongation at Break: Minimum 330% in machine direction (MD) and 600% in transverse direction (TD) mean excellent flexibility is shown.

Tensile at Break: Minimum160kg/cm in MD proves strong tensile strength of this material.

Dart Impact: minimum 100gr, high resistance against puncturing!

Processing Conditions

Extruder Temperatures – Best Processed at die temperatures between 160-180°C.

Blow Up Ratio – Minimum 2 is recommended so as to maintain a good balance of mechanical properties.

Cooling – Film temperature at nip rollers and haul-off should be close to ambient to avoid blocking and shrinkage problems…

Storage and Handling

Storage Conditions – Should be stored below 60C in dry conditions away from UV light which may cause degradation leading to odour or colour change.

Health & Safety – Not classified as dangerous but dust explosion risks need consideration during processing where adequate ventilation must be provided against inhaling fumes etc..

Recycling and Environmental Impact

Recycling – Suitable for recycling by modern methods if relevant standards are met. Keep clean for direct recycling of in-house production waste.

Disposal – Dumping and landfilling should be done through proper channels under guidance from appropriate authoritiesetc..

Food Contact Compliance

Regulatory Compliance: Complies with EC Directive 90.128.EEC for food contact use. It is safe and fit for such applications too!

Packaging

Packaging Options – Packed in 25kg PE bags for easy handling during industrial distribution storage etc..
